Privacy Policy

What we collect

You can read every public page on Ration without an account. If you create one, we store your email address and the data you enter on purpose: food diary entries, weight logs, goals, day types, and settings. That data exists so the product works; we do not sell it.

We also collect standard usage analytics (pages visited, device and browser type, approximate region) through PostHog to understand which parts of the site are useful. Analytics are tied to a random identifier, not your name.

Advertising

Ration shows ads on some content pages. Ads are served by Google AdSense, which may use cookies or device identifiers to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, and read how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com. Where required by law, a consent prompt lets you choose whether personalized ads run at all. Paying subscribers see no ads.

Some articles contain affiliate links; if you buy through one, the retailer tells us a purchase happened, but not who you are. See our editorial policy for how ads and affiliate links are separated from content.

Cookies

We use cookies for signing in and keeping your session, for analytics as described above, and, on pages with ads, the advertising cookies Google sets. Blocking cookies in your browser leaves the public site fully readable; only sign-in stops working.

Who we share data with

Your account data lives with our infrastructure providers: Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (hosting). Analytics events go to PostHog. Ad requests go to Google. Each processes data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We never sell personal data, and we never share your food or health logs with advertisers.

Your choices

You can export or delete your data at any time: delete your account from settings, or email hello@rationhealth.com and we will erase your account and logs. Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe link. If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have the additional rights those laws provide (access, correction, deletion, portability); email us to exercise them.

Children

Ration is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
